Before slicing banans, we need to take care that they do not turn its colour to black.
-
We need to make a mix where we can prevent changing its colour, so add little milk and asafetida to water and mix well.
-
Remove the edges and peel off the skin and put them immediately in the above mix.
-
In a Kadai or wok, pour oil by giving space to deep fry.
-
On the other hand, let’s make spice powder. We can sprinkle the only salt and pepper powder or else make spice powder. In our recipe, we made it by adding turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and red chilli powder.
-
When oil seems to be ready, slice bananas into thin and put one slice into the oil to check whether the oil is ready to deep fry or not.
-
If slice floats over oil then put a batch of slices by splitting them with hands and gently placing slices in oil so that they do not become clumsy and stick.
-
Deep fry them by stirring occasionally and flipping to another side till they change their colour and oil stops bubbling.
-
Drain excess oil and transfer to another vessel.
-
While chips are hot, sprinkle spice powder and mix well.
