Clean chicken with turmeric powder and slice pieces as per your taste and interest.

In a kadai, heat oil and fry green cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, cloves and onions.

Add curry leaves, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste.

Saute for a while so that ginger garlic paste is cooked.

Add chicken pieces and mix well so that the spices and flavours are coated well.

Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder and cook for 5 minutes with lid covered.

Add tomato pieces, mix and cook further for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle red chilli powder and pour little water and mix well.

Tip: You may add a bit more red chilli powder as per your taste to make Country chicken Curry spicy.

Cook for 5 more minutes as pieces are hard to cook.

When you feel pieces are almost cooked, sprinkle coriander powder and mix well.

Cook for a minute or two and transfer to a serving bowl.

Garnish Natukodi Curry with coriander leaves and serve hot with veg biryani or ulundu vadai.
