Mango Milkshake Recipe

We have different mangoes available in the market but we need to choose a ripe, less fibrous and less tangy variant. To get a smooth texture we can add fresh cream or vanilla flavoured ice cream.
While adding milk, to give rich flavour I recommend adding full cream milk as it’s thick and creamy. To go with different variations we can whip Mango Milkshake Recipe with ice cream.
As the name suggests Mango milkshake we blend mangoes with milk so our recipe consistency may change. If you like to have a thick and creamy texture we can lower ice cubes and whip frozen mango cubes.
Tips to make the perfect Mango Milkshake Recipe:
- If you like to have creamy and thick consistency then do not add ice cubes or chilled water.
- Based on the consistency adjust milk quantity and sugar for sweetness.
- Usually, ripe mangoes taste sweet so adjust sugar levels.
- To give a smooth texture we can even add or top with vanilla ice cream or fresh cream.
- Based on the geo-locations go for soft and non-fibrous pulpy mango (ex: Alphonso variant).
- If you do not have full cream milk we can even add toned milk/ coconut milk or any flavored milk.
- When fresh mangoes are not available as the last choice goes for canned mangoes.
- Before slicing mangoes, put them in water at room temperature and then slice them so that water absorbs heat (as per Ayurveda).

Ingredients
- Mango pulp – 1 bowl 3 No.
- Sugar – 2 tbsp.
- Ice cubes – 8 No.
- Full Cream Milk – 1 bowl
Instructions
- Before slicing, mangoes put them in water at room temperature so that by drinking this recipe our body doesn’t have a temperature rise.
- Choose low fiber, ripe mangoes and slice them into small pieces and put them in a mixer jar.
- Based on the sweetness of the fruit adjust sugar levels and add ice cubes to it.
- Blend for a while till you get a thick and smooth consistency.
- Based on the consistency you need, add milk and blend for a while till you get the required consistency.
- Pour Mango Milkshake in a glass and serve fresh.

How to make Mango Milkshake Recipe:
1. Clean and slice mango pulp into small cubes. Ripe fruit gives good taste and sweetness.
2. Usually, mangoes are sweet and in some cases, they are tangy by adding sugar we may lower the tangy flavour and adjust the sugar based on sweetness.
3. Based on your interest and consistency you like to have, adjust the ice cubes. I have used 8 No. ice cubes for 3 mangoes, if you want you can lower them.
4. Blend these three ingredients for a minute so that we get a thick and soft paste.
5. Add milk either at room temperature or chilled. If using chilled then we can lower ice cubes.
6. Blend further till we get the required consistency and smooth texture. If you want to have a thin consistency we can either add milk or a little water at this point.
7. Serve a fresh Mango Milkshake Recipe chilled to get a refreshing experience.
