Ingredients
- 250 grams Fish Eggs
- 3 tbsp. Oil
- ½ tbsp. Cumin seeds
- 1 bowl Onions
- 10 No. Garlic cloves
- ½ tbsp. Salt
- ¼ tbsp. Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp. Curry leaves
- ½ tbsp. Red chilli powder
- ½ tbsp. Garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp. Coriander leaves
Instructions
- Clean fish eggs in water without disturbing its membrane.
- Slice onions and coriander leaves, keep aside.
- In a pan, heat oil and fry cumin seeds, garlic cloves and onions by adding little salt.
- Sprinkle little turmeric powder to eliminate the raw smell, curry leaves and salt. (as per your taste)
- Add fish eggs and Sauté gently on a low temperature so that they are fry evenly.
- Note: If we do not stir or cook on high flame, eggs get a burn or stick to the bottom of the vessel.
- As per your taste add red chili powder and masala powder (homemade is preferred).
- At the end of the recipe, add sliced coriander leaves, mix well.
- Fish Egg Bhurji can be used as a snack in the evenings or can be taken with chapatti.

How to Make Fish Egg Fry:
- Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds, sliced onions and garlic cloves.
- Sprinkle a little salt, turmeric powder and curry leaves.
- Clean fish eggs gently with water and add them.
- Mix all ingredients on low flame as there is a tendency to get burnt and stick to the bottom.
- Sprinkle a little red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
- Add finely sliced coriander leaves and mix well.
- Serve Fish Egg Fry hot like a snack or with chapatti.
